Same here and its never an issue. Can't understand why its a problem to show your ID.???

I do. I just had a new DL issued and to be fair, I'm no oil painting at the best of times......but the DL photo makes me want to heave . Best avoided if at all possible!

The other week flying gold at the Priority Check-in , MEL- SYD no check SYD-MEL was asked for D/L
In the USA must show ID at for TSA checks at a minimum

Just to add my 2c, in roughly 180 domestic sectors flying VA in the last three years I think I've been asked for photo ID at check in once, but that was very early on when I was only NB. If it happened more frequently I wouldn't have an issue, frankly I don't know the fuss is about.
