Well, that's why l was a little bit confused because 30 million miles, is that even possible?

At that point, it's more about the ability to go places and to go there (like most "normal" people), not enjoying the service on board / on board experience.

In saying that, you'd probably not be able to fly Economy again, and just hope Business is OK.

I just did some quick maths and if someone wanted to do 1 Million Miles a year they would need to travel just over 19 000 miles per day.

Yes you could do it but would have to be pretty well in the air permanently and also no delays

If they are referring to earned miles then as simongr posted, there the minimum earn and COS bonus to consider. In reaility, on AA services, it's 2½ times the mileage at least for First travel by a PLAT or EXP.

e.g. The soon to be defunct (if not already) ORD-DEL is 7483 miles but an AA PLAT/EXP would earn 18,693 RDM in First.

Perhaps you did your math too quick How many days are you calculating for in your "year"? I did some math of my own and came up with approx 2.8k a day. Do u mean 19k per week perhaps?

I hope so, 19,000 miles per day would mean you would have to be airborne for 24hrs doing about 800km/h. Airborne refuelling maybe?

Not necessarily, Jetstreams can often result in a ground speed of 1200kmh or more.
