I had to make an unexpected trip to the UK and hadn't yet got around to closing down my NAB Gold banking account.
I've seen quite a few questions concerning around concerning how good the rate is that Citibank might use for currency conversion. Here are a couple of data points where I withdrew the same amount from the ATM at the same time using NAB Gold and Citi.
GBP20 - NAB $31.96; Citi $32.26
GBP40 - NAB $63.79; Citi $64.05
So NAB very marginally better in both cases but nothing that I'll lose any sleep over!
