NAB removing point earn on BPay

I don't believe any credit card treats a BPAY payment of a bill, including something owed to government, as a cash advance.

Certainly, the payments I have made to the ATO on my NAB Qantas Business VISA card as treated just like any other payment.

Worked in June for me.
And in July.

Is paying BPAY via credit card considered a cash advance with NAB? I contacted the bank and they were not clear. I have some council rates and ATO payments I want to make using the credit card via BPAY. Dont care about the points, just convience of use with the credit card and managing using bpay.
No

Can anyone confirm if the Qantas Business card still earns points for BPay? Are there any workarounds? I've been quietly earning points by paying rent and ATO statements for a couple of years, disappointed this is not longer possible...
