Hi all. Any idea about this. Family is booked in economy to tokyo on a 747. My old seat selection has been deleted and t looks like I now have a choice of premium economy seats from what I can see matching up the seat selection map to the qantas 747 seat maP. Thx.

Take it, could be a four classer, NRT getting the old fleet more often than not.

Same experience here. When I saw your thread I checked my own seats for flight Dec 15 - and it seems like PE is available for seat selection... I have selected PE, so we'll see if it works. I hope it's right as a bit more room makes a big difference for an overnight flight.

What QF status do you have? I am platinum but my family aren't.

Noticed similar. Flying J, but F seating available. Hooruh! :)

I, too, checked my booking and we have been moved to PE seats on the way to NRT.
Unfortunately it's not the old aircraft on our return in early Feb. But I'll keep checking in case the aircraft changes.
