An article like this would be far better if it had witnesses on the plane, unconnected to either airline staff or the lady and her daughter, to verify one or the other. There's discrete (not spelling!) versions of "what occurred" but how are we readers meant to know what took place? Many individuals have the habit of omitting some relevant facts, while many corporates also conveniently leave out the 'nasty bits.'
