Neck Pillows

I've had quite a few neck pillows over the years but I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any that are packable - in that they squish down into a tiny ball or similar?
I'm going on several long haul fights with my two kids, I'm the only adult. I really only want to take a back pack with me, and that means I don't have room for 3 pillows unless I can get them to pack down.

I am wondering if anyone can recommend anything that's actually comfortable and packs down easily?

I've found the memory foam to be the most comfortable (although gives me a hot neck) but bulky so I don't bother anymore.

The ones that pack down best are the inflatable ones but they dont work very well IME.

Some swear by this TRTL sort of thing, looks like it would pack flat

I have one of those inflatable ones which wrap around and support you from all angles. I'm not yet convinced it's the best invention ever but I do get as decent a sleep with it as you can on a Y seat. Much much better than going without.

This one is from a Swedish manufacturer Ovaer. When folded like this, it's about 10*14 cm and weighs 125g. It comes with a large hood for visual protection / privacy (I have taken the hood off and don't use normally, though).

I recently bought the Cabeau Evolution S3 and used it on EK Y flights from MEL-DUB and return. I found it to be much more supportive than the inflatible pillow I'd had for many years. It clips on to the headrest and really holds your neck in place for sleeping. It rolls up into a small case which can be clipped to your hand luggage.

It’s actually for a family member in NZ and that’s where I’m headed Sunday so it would be win win.

I've had a couple of more runs with my pillow (see above). I'll keep it for now. The best thing is that it prevents my head drooping forward which usually has been an issue for me. Being inflatable means I can fill it as little or much as I need based on the seat ergonomics.

There are also other brands selling similar designs.

I have recently purchased a Trtl which I thought was fabulous, actually got some sleep in Y. They come in kids but it was a bit hit and miss with ShelleyB-son. He was great on one flight, could not get comfortable on the other. They also do not pack flat, they are basically a curve. Still packs better than most non-inflatable pillows though.

I have one like this, I used to clip it to the outside of my backpack. Have to dig it out for an upcoming Y trip

I find the $2 inflatable ones from the reject shop the best. I always under-inflate it. The ones with beanbag beans are way too filled for my liking. I’ve splurged on expensive inflatable ones from the airport in the past when I’ve forgotten my faithful reject shop version, but they’re not nearly as comfortable.
