The Association of Professional Engineers Scientists & Managers Australia (APESMA) offer other member organisation discounts also.

APESMA charges an extra $50 to participate in their scheme.
Having just fallen back to life-time Silver, it looks like I still have some Qantas Club credit from my previous employer's scheme - (Showing QANTAS CLUB SILVER as my membership status) - Now to find out when that expires and see about taking up Admin's offer....

Does anyone know if there is a way to transfer a non-corporate membership? Paying another joining fee doesn't really appeal to me.

I can confirm that there is NO joining fee for moving into or changing corporate schemes. Just use your existing QFF number on the form and all will be well

i just rejoined individually for another 12 months in january this year, but i'm happy to make up the numbers until such time as any discount might flow my way.

Hi,
I would be happy to participate, not sure how it will work for us right now but I have mine & spouse membership due in August, not sure if that is 1 or 2.
Cheers

Unfortunately I only just renewed mine in February, however I will definaltely use it next february if it is about (60k points is a lot to use! But it was better than having to pay a new joining fee)

Please send me a PM. I've a special folder setup for those who express interest . Thats the only way I can keep tabs of the number of interested people. When I last checked we were close.... :D

I need my QP card within a month so I will need to jump ship if it isnt close.

Almost there... :p

Have 9 definites who are ready to join now (+ many others who will join once their current membership expires).

I'll wait for a few more definites who are ready to join now and then start the process to set up a corporate membership.

admin,

Well done and thanks for the effort from everyone, including those who don't need the help now but may some day in the future. ;)

Come on people!!! Here is the opportunity to save yourself $200 on a Qantas Club membership - let's get this thing up and running!

No, still waiting....

Many enquiries are from people who are already QF Club members, and will "transfer" to our scheme when is up and running. But we need 10 new applicants to set up the scheme initially.

Maybe someone out there has a membership that is due to expire, rather than just pay the renewal fee, I understand that the price will be the same if you resign under this program.

Please correct me if I am wrong, or review the fees prior to doing that just in case I am wrong.

Cheers

New to the board, and very interested in this offer. Just waiting to find out if my company has a corporate rate, if not sign me up!

I'll let you know shortly...what rates will we be looking at?
