Never fly F

Well said Barondupon. I had my first F experience this year on a 747 which was lightly loaded both legs. Now rather than flying J I'm looking at flying F to LAX in the A380. I just hope I can cope with a full F cabin , it was so nice having my private plane last time. :p

zig flew SYD-LAX in May only 3 pax in F I think the most I've had in F is 7 on QF11 but HKG-SYD in June had 13 total and the service didn't suffer but loo usage before landing was wait in line. And OP it is hard going back after F :D

Thanks Heleigh, that's good to hear. I flew J SYD-LAX rtn last year and it was a full flight both legs, not a spare seat on the plane, so I was anticipating the worst.

Or take the exit row and bulkhead seats on CX free of charge.
Can you pre-allocate exit row on CX? I don't see that option but can be done via the call centre as you say free of charge. I thought that you had to be Oneworld Emerald though for those special requests.

Potentially ruining it for everyone... for CX, everyone Ruby and above can give them a call to have exit row seats allocated - free of charge. However, the half an hour wait on the phone is something you'll never get back. :-|

Flying long haul SQ F and being the only passenger in F is a bit of a life experience. Many hours of total indulgence. I still remember the boarding, pre-take-off question: "Would you care for a glass of Dom Peringnon, Krug or both?" And it only improved after that ...

I hardly have to wait more than 2-3 minutes for the Australian number and then on hold for a few more minutes while they process seat request.

But every minute I have to wait is worth it to give me a better than good chance of avoiding recliners.
