New Advertising Bar

Is anyone else getting a pesky advertising bar at the bottom of the page? Any way to avoid it? It is turning me off AFF.:-|:-|

Saw it today when browsing on my iPad. Doesn't appear when on the laptop.

I'm guessing that upgrading to a paid AFF membership is the answer to removing it - something I should look into myself.

Thanks, milboo. Yes, that's the one. I'd looked around but couldn't find a thread on it already. I would have rathered slightly restricted access to this degradation of viewing quality if they were keen to differentiate paid subscribers to free viewers.

As a paying member I don't see any adds. The info I get off this site more than pays for itself.

Ads are one thing but this scrolling bar prevents me reading posts.
