New Amenity Kits

I got given the Premium economy kit on a MEL-CNS flight. Pretty cheap and nasty, the toothbrush was so bad that I ended up spitting out a mouth full of plastic bristles that came off it. No kit given on the return so I asked for blanket and pillow, the FA looked at me dumbfounded as if to say, "you must be kidding". Virgin domestic J really is just a bit of a joke. (actually it's a total joke but I'm being polite in front of the kids)

Why do you keep doing this to yourself?

Perhaps a case of not being happy until your unhappy, or there is another reason why they still fly which is left out of the discussion.

If you mean flying Virgin. I won't for the time being. Other than a few pre-existing bookings they have lost my business.

But, I will continue to consider giving them my business. I am not partisan and had hoped that they would offer a real alternative Business class product to Qantas but they are not delivering. YMMV

If your experiences have not been what you expected I would recommend sending some feedback to Virgin Send Feedback | Virgin Australia

Either way, I don't think this is the thread to discuss generalist complaints - maybe constructive feedback?

Never fear, Virgin have received direct contact from me. My feedback has been most constructive and specific, both to them and here on this forum. There are limits of course and eventually you vote with your feet.

Corbett: So it's "Goodnight" from me.
Barker: And it's "Goodnight" from him.
Both: Goodnight!

Well I think these kits look great and a big improvement on the old ones!

Wonder if my DJ rep can snare me one :)

On A330 J yesterday got the new mens business kit. Had no razor in. Maybe not for domestic?

they tend to always go off when walking through the medal detectors.

I don't normally wear my medals when I fly.
Security would probably confiscate them thinking they were sometype of Ninja throwing star or something.

The contents of the A330 domestic kits are slightly different to the international long haul kits (i.e. no razor).

Obviously domestic passengers cannot be trusted , congratulations on the continuing good RPK figures btw VA, for all the issues with J it seems to be working.
