New Amex statement credits

Here's a funny (and slightly strange?) AmEx Statement Credit promotion:

Spend NZ$25 or more, get AU$5 back

This offer is titled "Welcome to NZ Amex Offer" in the Offer Confirmation email.

Offer Details:
Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend NZ$25 or more, in one or more transactions, in-person, online or in-app at American Express accepting merchants by 31/12/2018 to receive a AU$5 credit, up to 6 times. Exclusions apply.

Also, I can confirm that a single NZD 150 charge will trigger the maximum AUD 30 credit (though no email confirmation is received like other promos). Could be a good way to get a discount on paying for anything (literally) in NZD.

Has anyone found a way to use multiple AMEX payments with woolworths online? to use up the $40 - $10 credit? So far I have found that if I enter the gift card amount first, then I can get it to only take $40 off of the AMEX. Was hoping to use 2-3 credits per transaction.

Confirming that Flight Centre GCs do trigger the soon-to-expire offer. $2 surcharge a giftcard but they did let me split payment. 3 year expiry

I bought the flight centre egiftcards online and there were no surcharge.

Handy as we're going to NZ before this one expires :)

HN 350/50 offer available now
No thanks....HN can take their offer and shove it! ...no interest or desire to fight with their staff over split payments with Amex, buying HN GCs with Amex...last promo a HN Supervisor told me a GC was like cash so I could only buy it with cash...wtf!

Other less controversial offers;

La Mer - 200 / 40
West Elm - 150 / 30 (expires 25/12!)
Boozebud - 100 / 30

Are you seeing Boozebud on your account? None of my cards are displaying it and I can't seem to find a manual enrollment link.

Do any of these places sell visa gift cards or similar that anyone knows of? I’m aware of the issues with HN.

Could not register Business cards to this, but personal cards worked fine.

This is what happens when offers are Ozbargained. I saved the Harvey Norman offer but can't think of anything to buy. My brother just spent $250 cash on a dehumidifier at Good guys.
