New Amex statement credits

Is it a joke or something the `delicious month out` offer credits me $25 in total for multiple spends?
It's a joke.
Still waiting for acknowledgement of spend at a "participating American Express Delicious Month Out ("AEDMO") business" from a week ago.
Another local favourite listed on the Amex map does not even accept Amex, they have the wrong POS machine.

Just an anecdote - I have noticed a few smaller merchants in my area no longer accepting Amex. I know two previously used Tyro POS facilities and switched to another provider last year during the great outage (apparently 3-5 weeks depending on how important a customer you were to) and stopped accepting Amex at that point. I wonder how badly the Tyro exodus has negatively impacted Amex acceptance at a broader level.

Still waiting for my credits from two weeks ago even though I got the e-mails (delayed) saying I qualified. DJs Amex if that makes a difference

I notice that the spending must be on hotels and/or car hire. Flight spending is not eligible…
That is usually the case with these Amex Travel offers.

Same here. These credits are proving very slow to post.

Amex Travel Online 400/100
Received that on 2x cards (Biz and Gold CC).

Also a short fuse (5 days only) Myer spend $150 / $15. I shopped there yesterday…

Does anyone know if you can double dip with the existing hotel cash back offers? I assume not?
Wondered about Fine Hotels where you pay at hotel but thinking through don't think it would trigger the Amex Travel

I don't see how it could be possible. To trigger the Hilton/Marriott/etc offers, you need to pay them directly. To trigger the Amex Travel offer you need to pay Amex directly.

The only way I could imagine triggering both on one stay is by paying the room through Amex Travel and incidentals charged to the room (restaurants, room service, spa, etc) paid at checkout.. but that would be a lot of incidentals. Maybe if it was an FHR booking and you were also getting US$100-125 off the incidentals it would be a little more palatable.

Same issue as above.

Get Wines Direct $150 / $50 (just appeared on both my CCs).

Lady from Amex got back to me today about the lack of offers on supp cards. She told me that the offers have started again and could see I had saved some Dell offers to all my supp cards on 3rd May. That sounded strange as it's not something I would have saved. A quick check and I couldn't even see the Dell offers as either saved or available to save on any cards. She was adamant it was saved, even on my dad's supp card. I know for sure there is no way he saves offers.

She then dug a little deeper and read the T&Cs of the Dell offer. Clearly stating they're only for the primary card. I suggested something is very broken with the offers. She'll escalate again and get back to me next week.

I again put it to her that this might be a policy change on supp card offers. She was adamant that she hadn't heard or was aware of such a change. So perhaps there is hope and this is just a major IT stuff up.

I can only encourage others to phone up and raise a similar complaint. It can only help.
