Received all my credits for the VFNO overnight. Last Friday I used all my allocation at Myer purchasing CM GCs. I bought $50 GCs but also tried a $100 purchase on one card and received 2 credits although at the time I only received 1 email do

I purchased a single $300 CGMGC with a split payment across different cards 3 x $100, and have received the $20 back on each card.

Will you receive both credits for spending twice on same at same retailer ? Say Myer for eg ?

Shame that the travel one only seems to apply to pre-paid hotels and car hire.

Spent $50 x 4 across 2 cards at Myer yesterday on Coles/Myer GCs. No email notification yet though it shows on my Amex account simply as a Myer purchase.

No experience but if (as expected) Amex can't really identify that the holder is buying GCs, the credit should flow...assuming staff are happy for you to do the multiple transactions

No but I don't try it because many sales staff don't know how to do this correctly. At Myer they load the GC first then you pay for it. The last time I tried it the staff member was unable to split the payment after loading the GC and then wasn't very happy when I then said I didn't want the GC.
