Just fired off 2x QF Hotels $100 off on stays in Yellowstone. Now only paying A$400 pn across two lodges…!

Only pity is AMEX don’t seem to award bonus QF points on QF Hotel spend…

Which lodges? They get damn expensive for what they are!

Finally phoned amex and got them to add the HN offer manually to my card. "Is there anything else I can help you with?" Now you mention it can you add the offer to the supp cards? "Sure". So that is 4 offers across 4 plat edge and the 4 Qantas cards which were automatically offered from the get go.

I called them today and spoke to plat card services, they said it is impossible to add to a card that does not have it but said if I have it on another card they can move it accross I argued that someone else had its added he said impossible and put me thru, to biz services to try to get it moved across I don't hold much hope.
oh he also said it is impossible to add it to supplaimentry card I said that not right as I have it on 2 sup cards.
what going on with amex ??

OT but, 2 nights at Grant Lodge and 1n at Canyon. The Old Faithful ones were either sold out already (for Sep) or even more expensive! But as one of those one off bucket list places, I guess it does mean more time seeing the sites.

But even WYS is very expensive not to mention the Kings Ransom rates at Jackson Hole!

QF hotels were quoting pretty much the same price as booking direct but in AUD (plus points earn!).

Have you been able to find a store that has them @tinkybelle?

They used to sell the VCard but it got flogged and many stores took them off the shelf during the promo or refused payment by Amex. I thought they'd stopped selling them altogether. Online purchases of HN e-giftcards also get reviewed/cancelled often too. Third-party GCs are also pretty slim pickings with OzB reporting that Apple GCs are rare.

Ahh yes the good old VCARDS. I remeber that - 1st day it got smashed, 2nd day, signs everywhere ' AMEX CANNOT BE USED'...or something like that...
