New Amex statement credits

PS: I was hoping the WWGC would come with a full card number to just add to the EDR app but its a bit clunky as have to add via the Special App
it's better, add to your mobile wallet and use it to buy a gift card. I usually buy a wish gift card which i add to EDR app and use to pay for petrol at EG.

why buy a full-price wish card instead of a discounted gift card, given that wish are always discounted elsewhere?

in addition to what Gaz0303 said,
if i need or have an immediate use for another gift card then i will use to buy the discounted card otherwise i do have immediate use for petrol so happy to take 10% over 3-4% or rare ~6% that pops up now and then and never at the same time i have a special gift card.

Cause spending the Special gift card is a frustrating process otherwise.
‘cause shopping at Woolworths is frustrating? :)

do you need to use the Special card immediately?
why not just buy discounted Wish to buy petrol?
i’m guessing that you can’t use Special Woolworths to buy discounted Wish online at Woolworths Gift Cards?

i don't but would rather use them sooner rather than later as it is very little benefit letting it sit there and they come around so often anyway.

I do sometimes buy discounted wish gift cards when they are better than 3% but don't see the point otherwise when i have 10% available.

not sure if you can use the card online for discounted, keen to hear if it's possible though.

Not sure where to post this but yesterday my Coles Myer GCs (primarily obtained from Amex credit offers at Myer) were declined as a payment method at a Reddy Express (formerly Coles Express) in Willoughby in Sydney. I will try and follow up to see if this was a glitch or whether new payment terminals at Reddy Express no longer accept these cards.

Beware.

given that they are still sold at Reddy, likely just a glitch - also:

I've noticed in the last three weeks, two of my local Coles petrol stations have also updated their payment terminals which has changed the way one of my cards works. I used to swipe the card, hit enter on the terminal and a slip would be printed fout asking for a signature. This has been the procedure for years.

First time with the new terminal I swiped my card, pressed enter and nothing happened. Mentioned to the attendant that I didn't have a pin and I would sign as normal. Pressed enter a few more times, still nothing. The attendant then pressed some random numbers on the terminal then hit enter and whala, transaction approved. No signature required. The next fill up at a different Coles petrol station with the same new terminal, same new procedure.
