New Amex statement credits

And I got Novotel but not Sofitel on my personal Plat.

So random!

All I got was Novotel on my plat reserve. Nothing on the charge or QF card. Would have loved Sofitel. Perhaps quite targeted.

It's good to see the Accor brand hotels are now starting to show up in the statement credits, especially given the AmEx Platinum comes with Accor Plus.

Anybody used the Expedia offer not specifically on the amex offers page it states?
Wondering if I could combine with some cashback.

For those trying to do this, only hotels booked using the Amex offer link have given the Amex credit back. Expedia hotels via Shopback / Cashrewards did not trigger Amex credit.

Yep, I followed the link and received one credit. Just about to book another.

Interestingly, I did two Expedia bookings starting with the Amex link. Activated the SB offer via the browser widget extension thing (it drops down a button automatically). One booking got both Amex and SB (tracked), the other only the SB.

Widget is a great idea! Mine was just using the mobile apps for cashback. But apparently still mixed results.

I remember it well - 350/75. Had to spend 3 nights at the Crowne Plaza in Melbourne and broke them up into 3 separate bookings to maximize credits. Could do with a repeat offer as Mrs SS needs to spend a couple of nights there again in mid-May.
