I flew J BNE to Perth last week and had the Bircher Muesli for breakfast. I'd never come across it on domestic J before and thought it was absolutely fabulous - one of the best I've had. This probably means it is very unhealthy. A definite improvement over the reheated egg products that usually crop up though.

I wonder if it's the same as the muesli served in International Business and First? Not a fan of muesli usually, but it's good enough for me to order every time I'm flying INT.

The muesli you're referring to is the Toasted Muesli with Cranberry, made by Brook Farm. On an award 332 SYD-PER J flight in early 2009, I was offered the muesli or...the muesli. A little disappointed initially about the lack of choice, but like the posters above, for those of you who haven't tried it, it's fantastic!

The good news? It's available to buy from the Brook Farm website. I had to do a bit of research, but eventually located the manufacturer & their website. Small packets a tad expensive from Supabarn & health food stores, but the bulk 6 x 2.5kg pack from the manufacturers is better value. Mrs 8803, mini 8803 & I went through the lot in about 2 months.

And can you believe this - it's also available on the amazon.com site! However, they don't ship to Aus.

Hope this helps!
