New Breakfast enhancement

The enhancement is definitely a HSYD "special". The poor staff at the EL were swamped with so many people, resulting in extreme keen-ness to clear the tables. Don't be surprised if you leave your table to refill only to find that it's taken by someone else. The EL manager is also leaving for another Hilton.

I did ask how much extra it would be to have breaky in Glass now and she cheerfully replied it is a special discounted $29 for Diamonds.

Last year, I had people join me for breakfast (additional to the people in the rooms I had booked) and the rate we were charged was $29 a head. It looks like they've picked that number.

hilton Cairns - full breakfast downstairs still free for Diamonds. off caffeine at the moment so not sure if coffee charged extra.sorry

Still free in Cairns - self-serve machine coffee (though they will bring to table if asked) not barista. As much as you like, and take-away cups provided too.

Sounds nasty. I've never experienced a non-Glass breakfast at Hilton Sydney, and am not looking forward to it.

I found the breakfast offering in the el in Sydney HH as very poor.

Not worth the extra room rate.
Will try to avoid due to the change.
