New business class seat - preview in SYD lounge.

I just walked in this morning to the SYD lounge for a very early start to the day to MEL and low and behold they have a preview set up of the new J seats being rolled out to the A330 and 777 and by gosh they look impressive!

I can't post photos but am very much looking forward to trying the seat out - now VA just need to hurry up and finish the fit outs!

Does lounge allow guests to try out seat(s): 'try before buy' stuff?

I am here at the lounge now and they have staff at the display to promote the product and they are inviting everyone they speak to to take a seat.
When I had my turn I was asked to try out the fully flat bed.....and I did.
Comfy to sit on for 5min but the real test is what my bum thinks after 15hrs on one.
Lots of little hidey holes to stash things which I like.

Definitely worth checking out while in the SYD lounge.

ill pop in and check it out next week - curious to see how it compares to the QF a330 j seat which imo is very cheap and nasty in finish quality and a bit of miss in full flat with the 'coffin' style lower body space
