New IHG Hotel for Brisbane opening 2022

Just looking at the IHG site and it is showing a new hotel for the BNE CBD. Shows as available from 30th April 2022 and this one is a VOCO hotel and is listed at 85-87 North Quay. Google maps shows this address as the Mercure Hotel. The Mercure is an old, pretty run down hotel so would need a lot of renovation to make a "new" hotel for IHG

Interesting.. I recall the Pullman and Mercure sharing some facilities (the gym and/or pool maybe?). If it's only the Mercure that's going IHG, I wonder how that is going to work.
