Hi everyone,

I recently got an Amex and 100,000 bonus points and since then Ive become hooked on flybuys / wollies rewards. My aim is to be able to take the wife and two kids (aged 3 and 9 months) away to Europe next year for 6 weeks - and pay for as little of the flight as possible.

Im in the process of opening the Bankwest debit account as well.

cheers
Phil

Welcome aboard philthy79, have a read about amex points - there is some value to be had by holding both an edge and explorer and linking the rewards - it can take some effort/persistence but IMO worth it.

The Amex points are with Gateway (0.75 points to transfer)

Thanks Steady - i have heard of the edge & explorer link. We're looking at houses at the moment so I will probably wait a littel while before i look at getting another card. Im getting the Mrs to join up for a QFF linked card soon as well. She'll also apply for an Amex when their points go back up to the 100/50 for sign-up/refer a friend.
