Excellent, now independent hoteliers can experience the frustration of using the 'AccorHotels' website too. I hope they use some of that 22 million euro to fix the awful website layout and functionality.

Is it really a name change when ACCOR hotels becomes Accorhotels? Or just a space removal?

Maybe they forgot to let the Accor Plus team know before they change name. Should have made it AccorHotels Plus.....

I'm not an Accor rep but I would like to avoid the properties you speak of. Can you advise here?

I may have been a bit tough on them. My experience isn't the broadest, but I have found the Ibis brand disappointing and Mercure hotels variable. At one Novotel in Canada, they emptied the minibar part way through my stay without any explanation, but still hit me with charges for stuff I hadn't taken.
