New QF A380 reconfiguration!!!

I did notice that they served a meal and disappeared, however they were only a call button away , I prefer that than hovering or them patrolling.

There was literally rubbish and beer cans overflowing on the side bins in the cabin the service lacked that much..!
I shall be sending feedback on this flight thats for sure!

The upper deck is emptied before the lower deck Y passengers are allowed to deplane, so in theory you will be out earlier in 35D than in 48A.

I can say that on EK A380, it is affected and therefore not recommended.

What about 66A / K, are they affected by the bulge ?

Never sat in 48A, but I can confirm 66A/K are some of the best paid seats in the house. No door bulge.

Has anyone been incorrectly charged twice for seat selection?

Organised seats for my father and his partner who are NB hence the $25 seat selection charge. I got them 33D/E on QF11 but managed to change a day later to 32D/E but was charged both times (even though the QF site says you can change seats without charge).

Called QF who had no idea and took down my number to call me back....

I have just had the same experience, booked a seat for my NB Daughter and paid the $25, today I managed to move her to the upstairs Y cabin and got hit for another $25

I've been through most of this thread and the other, older thread. I've just booked QF127/128 with connections to/from BNE for later this week. I've snagged 33K for the outbound and 34D for the return. I didn't notice any negative comments about these seats but if anyone has any specific feedback, I'd appreciate hearing it.

I hever actually sat in those seats but the D seat should be okay for an overnight flight.

With the K seat, you should get side storage and some views or the window.

My fiancee and I are on F award tickets, while our mothers are in Y (it's our wedding/honeymoon). Where should we put them? i've had the pleasure of 71D which is currently vacant.

However Row 48 is also open, and as we are sitting on the A side in F, I was thinking perhaps we could pop past the curtain regularly to check up on them. 48A seems to only be $25 compared to $180 for the other exit rows - is it significantly worse?

TBH - you only ever get 1 mum but you will prolly have multiple F trips in your lifetime - so for me................................I'd be putting mum in F and I would endure Y - but YMMV.

she received a TG F trip last year, and will be coming home solo from LAX in F so don't you go feeling sorry for her cruiser! (although she hasn't yet had her maiden SQ suites trip)

48A is a bad seat , the door protrudes (similar to exit row seat A on a 333).

I know you jest, but that mini cabin at the back looks ok, particularly with the exit row 35?

I just finished 2 legs in the mini cabin MEL to DXB and back. I was in Row 34 both ways. Small and intimate and quiet, so the in laws might like it as opposed to the hoards downstairs. Row 35 is indeed the exit row but can be hampered by solid arm rests so its hard to lie flat if there is spare seating next to you. Also costs more. If there are only 2 inlaws try to get the window seats as the storage bucket is nice

In normal Y I find that my knees are pressed right into the back of the seat in front, so I figured I would try something different this flight. From the photos, it looks like I'll enjoy not having a seat in front of me.

I assume from your handle that you are Game of Thromes fan?

IMO, you will suffer painfully in row 32 on the upper deck. I would pick a different row (33AB/JK if available) and stretch out under the seat in front. The bulk head in row 32 is definitely not extra leg room if you are taller than about 5'8".
