Might be interesting but I'm betting weird timings.

The timings don't seem too bad.

ADL 19:45 - HBA 22:05

The flights run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

It looks like QF1508 is the last Qantas flight out most days (weekdays only perhaps), suggesting that you'd get some QP lounge time, but be kicked out of the QP before boarding.

For this reason, if I am to fly the route I think I would take it from Adelaide :p

Emirates departs around 9.50pm. Club is open.

I had to laugh at some of the comments on JQ's Facebook page, following the routes announcement.

Some of the Comments I read were on the lines of " I can't believe the flights are so late, my children won't stay up so late, your not very family friendly Jetstar".

[ Facepalm] I don't think you can please everyone when it comes to flight times.

Flight times will work for business clients but maybe not family friendly but I am guessing they will increase the frequency and timing could be better for the leisure travellers
