New show on SBS: Travel Man

Saw this today. Sounds rather entertaining.

Starts tomorrow night at 8pm on SBS 2.

Sorry to join in . But just out of interest. What happen to the new shows about Qantas on channel 9 just recently on a wednesday night prime time ? After Qantas they show the philipines airport show.

I remember the best show i used to enjoy watching was called (Airport) a BBC programe from the UK that was shown here on channel 9 on saturday evenings sometimes on thursday evenings. Used to show the daily life work for heathraw airport. (AIRPORT) show was one of the best memories though. Years later now we saw QANTAS show on channel 9 which i enjoyed watching but didn't new about it until i missed 4 of the episodes of it. Nothing seems to last long on channel 9.

I think the show will be either quite good or dreadful. It will depend on whether Richard Ayoade can get past his IT character.

Yes thanks dear. It was all about qantas. Only short period of time it lasted really. Would be nice to see some european long haul flight programe like this or even singapore airlines.

I flicked on Channel News Asia the other night in Singapore and caught a great show which seemed to cover just Changi. Security, immigration etc. Was great. No idea what it was called though.

ther is more of a travel across europe such as geneva and many interesting villages. Samantha Brown travels across europe and it is a american show programe . It is on foxtel well from last time i knew over 2 years ago.

Great. Well hopefully the channels here in australia the free to air has any money to buy programes like those. Or to bring back AIRPORT
the BBC programing. Foxtel shows or it was or still does (Samantha brown) she's more of the show across europe and hotels which to stay and do. A american show really. But the actual Qantas show on channel 9 only was a short period of time. And instead they end up showing a cheap ends meat show about vietnam airport and all the vietnamis staff and patrol airline. Why not something much bigger productions such as Singapore airlines and singapore airport since it is more the best places in the world when it comes to airlines. Channel 9 are alittle odd they end up buying cheap programes but at the end of the the day they end up crying because they are on crisis and the programes as to be short lived.

Just watched the Istanbul and Copenhagen episodes. Thoroughly enjoyed them.

Richard Ayoade is an acquired taste, but definitely my sense of humour.

Watched the Iceland episode last night on catch-up. We won't be bothering looking for any more episodes. I like the IT Crowd but this show was rubbish.
