Nice surprise in the mail today, a letter from St George saying that our current Amplify Visa will be upgraded to Signature automatically before July 31, with no change to our current annual fee, which I think is $79.
I was going to cancel the Amplify and maybe re-apply for the signature later to try to get the sign-up bonus, but the reduced annual fee, (if it stays at $79 forever, which it may not of course) means I will keep the account open and wait for a shiny new black Signature card to arrive in the mail hopefully.
