Card Promotions New Westpac Altitude Platinum Offer 75k QFF Points. 1st year fee free

Yes, i have it now (but not for much longer....;)). Just hit the spending criteria in month 2, and the bonus points came through the day the 2nd month statement was issued.
Thanks mate.
I reached the spend on day 1, hopefully it comes at first statement:cool:.
Btw any chance you will ask refund of the annual fee when canceling?

Thanks runway16R. Can confirm it worked for me. Purchased 25th Jan, received lounge passes 1st Feb.

Glad to hear. It's a quick option if you're planning to churn the card too. If anyone is looking to cancel the card, don't cancel through the app. Call up and request a refund of the card fee ($150).

I last held a Westpac card Feb 7th 2023, is the bonus exclusion period tracked to the day or just the month? I'd rather apply now instead of waiting until March.

Westpac Altitude qantas black - spent minimum spend in first month but no points in first statement.

My first statement says 19/01 - 18/01, but I didn't apply for the card until 22/01, and was approved 23/01. Is it normal for the billing cycle to be like this? I had asked over the phone when I got the card if the first billing cycle would be shorter and they said no.

Hey all, I applied for this card and got a rejection email and an approved email at the same time last Monday. Been waiting a week to see if there was any news on the card being sent. Haven’t heard anything and when I go into the application there’s nothing under next steps. Anyone had this experience? Have I likely been rejected and the approved email was sent by mistake?

Did your bonus points end up appearing in the second month?

I received my card last week and will hit minimum spend shortly, shouldn't be any dramas with exclusion as it's the first Westpac card I've had. Hopefully my bonus points come before the 30th September to retain PC+ (need about 50k) ..not a real biggie though, we can always buy more wine :D

Fyi, I hit minimum spend in the first month and bonus points were received a few days after my first statement

My twelve months is about up for W-pac so I thought I best research the current offering and I just noted that the exclusion period is now 24 months.
The job keeps getting a little more challenging...

Existing Westpac customers who currently hold an Earth Classic, Earth Platinum, Earth Platinum Plus, Earth Black, Altitude Classic, Altitude Platinum or Altitude Black credit card, or who have held one in the last 24 months, are not eligible for this offer. Velocity Points or Qantas Points earned during a statement cycle are added to your Velocity or Qantas Points balance on a monthly basis.

Wow, huge news. Looks like a new requirement across the Westpac rewards card line.

Churning is really going to the dogs in Australia!
