After a 5 year gap we flew to New York to catch up on shows.
We flew on Delta and stayed in Marriott Marquis. We enjoyed the Sky Mies Delta lounge and we have a Delta Amex coming in the mail.
The show we enjoyed the most was Hell’s Kitchen followed by Water for the Elephants. We saw 4 in 4 days. We are now wondering which show will get the Tony Award.
It was too hot for Las Vegas so we used AAA to get us set.
The US is more expensive but still a lot of fun.
Four nights in New York is just enough.

It took us 2 hours to get to the Sky Lounge at Kennedy due to the roadworks and the building going on.
There may be an easier airport to use.
Delta used a 767-400 for the LAX to JFK run and it was smooth most of the way.
Getting back to LAX will take about 6 hours tonight.

Now we have used a driver to get us to LAX and back to the Cove In Marina del Rey.
Edgar our limo service driver has been really excellent so that was something that Mrscove had been wanting for a long time. His vehicle is a big black unit that can carry multiple suitcases and passengers so three big bags and three passengers was no problem.
Coming back to LAX from JFK was on a 767-300ER and the ride was smooth. We will build Delta miles with our new Delta Amex cards. Friday evenings flight was quite full and the young lady in front of me had a small dog that behaved. She told me that she had sedated her dog for the 5 and a half hour flight.
Edgar is on WhatsApp if anyone wants his service.
i noticed tipping at some places wanted a percentage on the bill including the local tax. I went yeah Nah and did 20% tip excluding the tax at restaurants.
