Hi
I am trying to help out a friend here in Australia that is new to the points game. I am not familiar with the Australian credit card options so I thought I would ask for some help on here.

They are looking to fly business, if possible from BNE. They can apply for credits and use points if that would help. They can also buy points if that makes sense. They have a few QF points but nothing substantial.

They have flexibility in terms of travel dates, they are looking at June/July 2017. Any/all suggestions are welcome.

Thank you

Oh yes, that would probably helpful
Anywhere central Europe would work. Ultimate destination is Sweden.

Credit card signon bonuses could be worthwhile but Qantas availability around school holidays this late would be shocking.

Another option woukd be to try buying miles from Avianca. That could be the cheapest option. Dedicated thread on AFF for more information.

It might be too late for this year sorry to say...as JohnK indicates..... I booked a Europe trip with purchased AA miles (most of which started life as US miles! lol) MONTHS ago for AUG/SEPT... and even then could only get BA (with its surcharges) on the outbound... fortunately snagged AY coming home..(well... QF to/from HKG)

Avianca availability mid year is very sparse too... I think its just a bit late....sorry!

"They?" So...2? That just makes it harder....
