As a a gold member which of my benefits is my travelling partner entitled to? Obviously I can guest +1 to the lounge but can they checkin at the biz counter with me, priority board, enter through Syd premium entry etc if we are on the same ticket and they are only a normal velocity member?

Was interested both domestically and internationally as I will be flying delta/va.

Thanks

You will be able to checkin together and access the priority screening/boarding. No extra luggage for the +1. This will be OK even if on different PNRs in my experience

You will already have been able to choose better seats if on same booking. You will usually be able to access seats for family in those areas by calling VFF if on different PNRs. This doesnt always stick but can usually be sorted out at checkin

Thanks for the response Andye, that was what i was thinking but am yet to travel with my partner yet so just wanted to confirm a few things. Any ideas on the upgrades for Golds on delta to economy + ? Would it only be myself that i can upgrade <24hrs or would it be for the both of us if on the same ticket.

Cheers

Not sure about Delta but upgrades usually need to apply to everyone on the ticket (and you need enough points/availability)

Re: Delta Upgrade, i was referring to the complementary Delta Comfort+ which are available to gold members <24hrs out from the flight. Just wondering if i get it and my partner does not i will be in trouble haha

If you are on the same PNR everyone should be entitled to the economy +benefits
