Yep, one tends to sit on the tarmac at Perth for the entire weekend.

Quite possibly one of the worst and most 'amateur' videos i've seen in a long while. It's like a media projects production from a high school kid learning how to do things.

So many things wrong with this I don't know where to start, but the creepy looks on the crew faces for doing the demo freak me out :S

Given the quality of NZ's safety videos it's no wonder they want to sell their stake in VA!

That is a shocker, but given they need $850 million in capitol and have $3 billion in debt, maybe fancy videos wasn't in the budget.

How can Virgin go so far backwards? The original cute animated demo broke ground and set a bar for the industry. Surely they could have done what every other juggernaut does - put out a competition for creative artists to compose a new concept.

I flew SYD-PER return over the weekend and saw the new video. What a disappointment!

Part of the Virgin charm was the animated video. The new video looks like a modern day Jane Fonda workout video with the main actress pacing up and down on a travelator. There is a creepy scene where she fits a safety mask on her 'mini me' dressed in a VA flight attendant uniform. The child looked like Annabelle from the horror movie.

Let's hope this is only a temporary video and they relaunch a new animated video in the upcoming months!
