No of Nights Members Stay in a Year

F&F shouldn't but sometimes they are incorrectly keyed in and you get them but don't expect, rather it's a bonus). PP ones do count, so with 25% off (for example) then the annual fee can be easily saved in 2 nights of PP rates.

Thread can be found here - see post #1 for the link. Steve Sickel has many friends and it's all legit. I always carry the print out in case they ask me for it - only IC Perth has ever asked.

I thought the F&F's rate didn't earn PC points?

Is there some code you need to enter to get these rates?

At 5000 points for $30 USD is not hard to work out if its worth the points!

Some high numbers from some AFF members.

I thought I would check through my numbers for 2010, I thought it would be around 40-50 but was surprised that it was as high as it is, I guess I did fly 100,000 kms last year.

65 nights away.
19 Hilton Nights, no not all on my account, although I did make Hilton Gold, with the help of a fasttrack program thanks Serfty. :D
10 Holiday Inn(Priority Club, chain) 3 were point stays.
10 with relatives+friends overseas cuts down the expenses. :)
6 on a Qantas plane, overnight flights in economy. :(
** Balance random, Singapore, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Perth. (Amsterdam and Perth were recommended by the trade show organisers.
Singapore in 2010 accommodation cost me $421 AUD this year the bill was $878.00 all to try and keep my Hilton status going.

That's it Bundy Bear. Status once reached must be maintained. At what cost...?

Any updates on stay/night numbers. I will add 3 nights next week.

I am looking at around 200 in ICHG properties, 5 or so in Accor and maybe even 5 or so in Hiltons, all domestic although there is a couple of OS trips at the end of the year. PC seems to think I stayed in the UK for two nights to hit the 5 ICHG brands for crack the case, I must have forgotten that trip ;).

markis10, I seem to have the same problem with PC - it's like the three bears story (somebody has been sleeping in my bed). Someone even drank from my minibars on one stay :o

If only I could find the miscreant(s) and thank them!

I've got 59 nights this year for Priority Club (all at the one hotel!); basically no Platinum benefits offered but the staff there were generally fairly nice (the bar staff in particular )

Kinda kicking myself for not reading the details for the current 2x points promotion and checking out / checking back in after one night. So many bonus points squandered.. :(

Console yourself with the fact that it may not have helped, and could have still been counted as one stay.

I've averaged 80-90 nights away a year for about the last 4 years, and around 75 of those would have been in Priority Club hotels, the majority being IC's. I've also referred 2 AFF members to RA staus and a third who resides over at FT. But it is all coming to an end :( as we plan less travel from next year. What we do will also be more "strategic" - cruises, apartment stays etc Consequently, my RA staus will become history in the middle of next year and, with no purpose in pursuing it again, I am now using up some of the accumulated zillions of PC points. As mine have all been self-funded, the bank balance is happily breathing a sigh of relief!
