Of all the things in the world to be concerned about, the OP had issues with an advertisement in the Qantas magazine. So the person might not be a troll, but their behaviour very closely resembles one.
The fact they did a seagull run indicates troll to me, they made no serious attempt to stick around and put some decent arguments behind their opinion.

You can't assume the person is a troll. Just because they express a view contrary to yours does not make them a troll.

I think it's pretty safe to assume that someone who opens a thread that is only very loosely connected to the topic of the forum for the purpose of attacking a minority, and then never comes back, falls well into the category of "troll".

Doesn't change the fact (not view) that the gay community is clearly still playing catch up. Again, how many times in AFF history has someone come on board to attack another minority for no purpose?

Unfortunately some people in this country (and too many others...) still have a problem with gay people existing at all, let alone any public recognition of that fact. And if you read the whole thread it wasn't just the OP as some others thought it 'inappropriate' for children to see an ad with two fully-clothed men.

Give me a break. Children don't give a rodents behind about gay people unless their parents or school / church etc have taught them to.

I suggest that anyone with a problem with LGBTQ individuals just stay away from Qantas. And Virgin might be a bit raunchy for the kids so they're out too. And Jetstar had Magda on their advertising so I guess you're down to Tiger.

I agree entirely!
