Welcome!

The dive I'm staying at in Nagoya didn't have an adaptor, so I took out the plugs I mentioned in my April 25 post and it worked perfectly as well.

Nagoya has a decent Hilton. The Director of Operations (2nd in charge) is a mate of mine and an ex-Nambour/ Sunshine Coast boy. PM me for personal details if you want to change hotels.

Great hotel, nice bar on the top floor, and a very good (but BLOODY expensive) Teppenyaki downstairs.

One of the more....Western hotels in Japan.

The bar's not cheap either. Last time I was there, I spent about $4 for dinner (burger) and $400 at the bar  A draft beer was around $14 a glass if I recall correctly.

I guess you can take a boy out of Australia, but you can't take the Australia out of a boy
