Thanks BAM1748. Please put me down as definite, plus friend if there is room.

Thanks BAM 1748. Put me down for 2 as well. I often hear the steam train going through on the run down south.

Please put me down as a definite. I grew up next to a train line and still love the sound of steam trains.

Sounds great!! There is a good chance I can make it, although November is a bit too far in advance for me to definately commit.

I want my own railway car now!

Just out of curiosity, do they charge you to connect your car to train?

:)

Yes there is a charge of course, like the airline/airport business they have fees, there is even a special fee on top of the track acess fee for using Sydney Terminal platforms.

I must say I'm surprised at the many definite people within 2 days. I'll go through the thread in the next couple of days and note down who indicated what, I think there was even a definite possibility thrown in!

Matt,

Tell me someone who doesn't enjoy something like riding on a stream train! It would be like taking a ride on Connie!

Just to clarify please put me a almost definite, barring unexpected events. I haven't fixed my plans for that weekend yet, but plans will include getting to sydney a day early :)

My father in law is a massive train follower. He'd love to do it, but that will take a bit more planning. So perhaps a possible if there is room

Out of interest, how many can you seat in the carriage?

Ah, the lounge sits about 10, I'll make the bedrooms up for day use so that's another 10 to 15 plus I can throw in an extra couple of bar stools at the bar!

Unlike at take off, you do not need to stow your table or even keep your seat.
