Hi Flashware,

Yeah, combo of family committments (Mrs FF (nurse) starts early on Mon/Wed/Sat thus I need to get kids off to skool) and I have meetings at my office in CBR on the same days.

I must admit it is very tiring, but fun at the same time.

Add to that:
I live 1 hour from CBR airport (in Yass, NSW) and it makes for a lot of ground covered each week.

However, I do get Saturday mornings off (at the Qantas J Lounge).:mrgreen:

It would appear your best bet is to either convince JohnK to arrive really early…

I usually try to be helpful but not to arrive that many hours early.

Also for some reason spending time in the lounges recently has become very boring for me.

I figure it would be, but I gave other options and another member contacted him to advise of a better arrival. All worked out!

Using QF voucher which expires this week. Didn't leave though. Electrical storm closing down the airport. Was able to convince the lounge person to let me cancel the booking and put a note in the booking to let me fly next week.

Love it! I know the rest of the world thinks we're crazy, but I couldn't let a voucher expire either - even if it meant taking a 4 hour trip to nowhere!

Even better is that I received the voucher because the entertainment system was not working on a Business class ticket from LHR to BKK. I didn't even notice because I was asleep the whole flight
