Before breakfast served - get about 5 hours sleep - will need a nap on the next flight.

Quick flight but can't disembark before 6:30pm when customs/immigration opens, so throttled back last hour or so.

When departed the screen was showing 5:51 am, soon changed to 6:02am and is now drifting forward a minute at a time.

Don't you hate it when you get half way though a movie, decide it is ****e and is not going to get any better but there's now not enough time to start another. --- Oh well there always Sheldon ...

I was wondering when the NFL fitted in. Who will you be 'rooting' for? :D I guess if your friends are Giants fans, you'll be supporting them too? I picked Giants to win away from home over the Bengals. With Giants 6-3, including 3-1 on the road, they're a good chance against Bengals 3-5, with only 1 win at home.
Dunno, the Giant this this have only dominated in the one game at Candlestick park - the rest maily the squeaked in or out.

I may be more interested in how the Broncos are going as I have their QB in my Fantasy team.

In T4 Flounge, touch down was 6:11am, unusually we came straight in on RH northern runway (6R).

Berthed at new TBIT gate 134, interestingly there was not tractor pull - aircraft came right to gate under it's own power.

Due to schedule changes my booking no longer met the MCT, being 110 minutes - they had a florescent express folder with my name and onward BP's for expedited flow through the border processes.

Off aircraft 6:37, by 7am I was getting keys at the T4 F/L for a shower. :D

Quick breakfast of scrambled eggs, potato cubes and a fat chipolata.

In DFW, Terminal B A/C.

Full flight from LAX on time - I slept most of the 140 minutes.

I was in a 'semi-exit' seat, 757 - just tucked muy head between the headrest and the wall.

I admire your stamina.
Just one bit of nit picking-how many steps not counted as you go through the body scanners. The TSA's Mrs Schicklegruber at MIA certainly would not have allowed a pedometer to accompany you!

V large stamina!

Will be in Atlanta hoping to see the Giants flogged later in Dec!

Should be interesting, "matty Ice's" mob have not lost a game so far this season.

In "Belvedere" lounge at Hilton "Netherlands Plaza" Cincinatti. Sold out tonight - lots of NFL fans in town (The stadium is a 10 minute walk from here).

The flight landed fifteen minutes early, but being an RJ had to wait in the airbridge for the luggage. 15 minutes later it arrived - seems a new contract staff member took off toward the terminal with all the luggage, including 'valet'.

Down escalators to a train system (similar to ATL, but not as large) than back up to departures at the end where monitor was waiting to collect me.

We went to a 'hole in the wall' Ribs place in Kentucky where on laminex table were were served some mighty fine ribs with sides of 'slaw, baked beans, macaroni-cheese and some other stuff for $10 each. Got some strange looks when I asked for 'sauce on the side'. Left there well fed. :D

Dropped of at hotel, checked in and am preparing for some real shuteye.

Keep the updates coming serfty!

Pity about the result of the game, although it was always going to be a tough one for the Giants. Some non-FT friends from NJ were also there, but they are COdbaUA fliers (from the CO side) :p

Send our best to monitor & Franny :)

Steps: 42185

I had intended breakfasting in the lounge early and woke up at 6am, skyped home to say goodnight then decided on a 30 minute nap ... next thing I know it was 9am.

When I arrived at the lounge it was almost standing room only - I found a possie at one of the workstations so had a surf n cereal!

Went for a walk around town before heading the 100 metres to the Hyatt to meet monitor.

Steps: 47772

From the Hyatt it was a 400 metre walk to the stadium where, as has been alluded to, the game was over before 3/4 time.

NFL is a game where it is often a matter of inches - in the 3rd quarter the Bengals had a pass tipped, popping up into the air - it fell to their running back who advanced for a 1st down ... a few minutes later the Giants had a pass tipped, popping up into the air - it fell to a Bengals player for an iterception ...

After the game it was a reverse of the walk each to their hotels, I went to my room and checked some flights/seating etc. and Skyped home.

At 6pm we met up again at the Hyatt where we had a feed and a few drinks, watching the later games.

I am back in my room now to do some research and have found that I can get a bus to the airport from just outside the Hilton for $2 - runs every 20 minutes though the day.:D

That is excellent value...it is not as if The Hilton, Netherlands Plaza, is next door to the airport. I remember the days, down I71/75 and then I275 West....

Steps: 49704

Just packing up in the room with check-out in 10 minutes. Ats been raining heavily here most of the morning - I did go for a stroll around some nearby shops, there's a "Skywalk" around here that links about 15 building in a covered/elevated fashion, avoiding traffic and the weather.

No A/C at CVG, so I'm gunna have to camp out at the gate - hope there's some form of wifi available.

Yep - that's the route the bus took on a dismal rainy day.
Steps: 52511

Now in DFW C A/C - my flight departs on 90 minutes.

I was able to use the CVG "premium" WiFi at the A9 gate - but somehow my post was lost into the ether ...

I had a good nights sleep, awaking to find the dismal weather affecting the Chicago Bears game last night had wandered down to Cincinatti..

Found the $2 airport bus - it was a little late at 12:23pm but I was still checked-in and through security by 1pm.

I took the 'train' up to concourse B for a look around before heading back to A, then back to B where I purchased a couple of 'Coneys' from the "Cincinnati Chilli" shop as a light lunch - soft bread but tasty.

("Cincinnati Chilli" is like a mild subcontinental curry - subtle nuances, not just a chilli warmth.)

Aircraft came in, the flight boarded and we took of, raining all the time. Sunshine on top of the clouds of course.

After having 1A on the way up, I changed to 3A - there's about 4" less room in 1A than my legs need for a 2+ hour flight and 2A doen not have a window.

By halfway though the flight there was not a cloud to be seen - flew over some large swollen rivers before heading betwixt DFW and Dallas CBD and turning right before landing to the north.

Moved from exit seat on my 738 flight to aisle second row economy - all flights tonight to LAX are chockers and want to make a faster exit.

Did you try Skyline or Goldstar? (The residents can be quite loyal to one or the other.) I loved the "5 way" Spaghetti with chilli, beans, onions, and cheese, guaranteed 2% fat free!! I also like the cheese coneys, hot dogs with chilli, onions and cheese. Both topped with "hot sauce".

Was introduced to 5 ways Goldstar last evening by the monitors - even if "Gold Star" do sponsor the Bengals.

The Airport food store is definitely "Gold Star" branded.

Now in the LAX T4 Flounge. Just had a great shower and will be heading across to TBIT shortly for my QF94.

The flight from DFW was uneventful, I moved from my preallocated exit row aisle seat to an 'aisle' on the second row of economy - they keep the first two rows blocked for value adding purposes, but within a certain period oneworld elites seem to be able to access them.

The F/L has some "Conconut Chicken" with "brocolli flowers" and rice - really chicken breast baked in coconut crumbs with small pieces of brocolli and a slightly spicy blue-vein cheese sauce - it was surprisingly nice.

About to head to TBIT - I wonder if the Wifi will be working/useful?

I've had that chicken a couple of times now, the T4 F/L in my limited experience has pretty good hot food, on par with the TBIT F Lounge (quality but maybe not variety).

The last time I was there they ran out and I was told it would be a 1 hr + wait for some more chicken... so off to TBIT it was, even though the Wifi has always been dismal when I've been.

Steps: 56030

Using the LAX "airport" comp. Wifi here, havn't tried the oneworld.

We have the ne w gate 134 tonight to complete the circle.

There's some tired looking casseroles here - chicken or beef - although the vege jumble fry looks ok.

QF11 has boarded so could get a seat with no much issue.

Great reading & like many others have said , awesome stamina for back to back trips.

Serftys aircraft would have provided an interesting view of the shadow during the eclipse given its position at the time.

Not when the CC ensured all window shutters went down as soon as the seat belt signs went out.

Maybe for the aircrew ...

Posted on a wing and a prayer ...
