NRT lounge crawl 8 June 2025

Silver for now.

Does anyone know if JL will through check bags on a dom->int connection at NRT with an onwards QF flight? I'm pretty sure they will, but the JAL website is confusing at best (or I'm blind).

I will probably not be able to fly HLO, so I'm thinking of starting from NGO (JL flies 2x daily, 0930 and 1555 arrivals).

If both your flights are on the same ticket there should be no problem. Although not the same route, from memory I have checked in luggage for Mrs&MissM on a JL flight connecting to QF CTS-HND-SYD-ADL. CTS-HND(JL) HND-SYD(QF) and it all just worked.

I wish I could join everyone however alas, arrived in NRT yesterday but not passing through again until next week :(

Just something to be mindful of...

With Virgin Australia withdrawing from CNS-HND in February, their slot will likely be picked up by Qantas. This means Qantas will probably move either its NRT-MEL or NRT-BNE service to HND (my money is on MEL).

If this is the case, then those booked on Qantas out of NRT next April may get an airport change.

I was just looking at that,

I am heading to Tokyo in March 2 and then looking again for this event, a airport switch will mess things up.

Yes I believe they do , as does CX.

Think I'm a no for this. Aside from JL F, the NRT lounges are dire and about as good as a domestic QP.
