I'm looking to flying from NYC to YVR on a paid F ticket. I land at JFK (flying EY from AUH) at 0830 hrs on 15th December 2018 and can get to YVR either that day or the next. I'm heading to Whistler when I get to YVR so I can either spend the night of the 15th in YVR and go to Whistler on the 16th, or I can spend the 15th in NYC and then fly into YVR early morning on the 16th (preferably I'd fly into YVR on the 15th and then spend the night there).

I'm using these flights to requalify for WP with VA so only looking at DL as an option. I'm happy for multiple stopovers but don't really want anything longer than a few hours in each stopover. I'm also happy for a quicker approach such as JFK - SEA - YVR. Cheaper price is preferable.

Would need several hours connection time if flying on the 15th (I have a Canadian passport so that will speed the entry process up a little).

Thanks in advance.

This is the best status run I could find with Delta...

JFK-ATL-SEA-YVR on 16/12. 180 VA status credits for USD$624.

Otherwise, the cheapest F option seems to be a more direct JFK-MSP-YVR or JFK-SEA-YVR on 16/12 for USD566, earning 120 status credits with Velocity.

Thanks for your suggestion Matt. I received an email from Etihad a few days ago saying my flights have been changed after the original ones were now canceled so back to the drawing board it seems.

Thanks again
