29/10 QF19 SYD T1 JLounge 09:30-11:30 Guest 1

Was hoping someone was around for FLounge but nope, nobody there at this time. Can guest 1 into JLounge

Flying SYD-BNE and I thought I would give int'l a go, since it was the same cost, and I get to use the better lounge than T3 QP :!:

October 30--departing T3 @ 11:05 a.m.

Cut me a little slack...first time poster and very green in this area.

I have been a long time poster on Flyertalk and recently, I was asking about showers @ SYD (14+ hours flight...yuck), and someone provided a link to this board. I registered, but didn't receive my email registration, blah, blah, blah, had to email moderator, blah, blah, blah.

Anyway, I didn't know there was such a thing. I think it is amazing that for no other reason than to provide an act of kindness, that this particular thread exists.

I may as well throw our hat into the ring....

No status, flying on Qantas into SYD from SFO, arriving in SYD @ 7:30 a.m. on October 30. We have 3 1/2 hours before we board a Quantas domestic flight over to BNE @ 11:05. From what I've been able to gather, we land in T1 and depart in T3...take some sort of shuttle over to the Domestic portion of the airport.

We have no clue how long it will take to get our luggage/go through customs/quarantine, etc....heck, it may take 3 and a half hours....BUT....it would be such a treat to enjoy any extra time in the lounge.

We are celebrating our wedding anniversary (on Halloween actually)....18 years and hubby's retirement from the State of California, Department of Transportation--Division of Rail---yippee for him (I have many more years)!!!

It's a long shot....but I figured it certainly wouldn't happen if I didn't post!!!!!

What a shame you weren't arriving a mere 2 days later, otherwise I'd be glad to help you!

I also have a QP pass somewhere but that's only good to get only one of you into the lounge. Plus I have to find it first under a pile of junk. Then how to get it to you is a real problem.

Finally, it's Qantas, no u.

It was a bad habit (adding a "u") that I thought I stopped doing because it really does not help getting onto their website!!!
