Enjoyed your TR very much, Katie. I've not yet been to the eastern parts of Canada, so it will have to go on my 'to do' list. Hope Mr Katie's operation is successful and has a quick recovery. Best wishes.
Thanks too for your trip report - and hoping Mr Katie recovers quickly - and Ms13 for what you put her through.
MrsK and I took the train from New York City to Montreal back in 2013 during winter, and it was magical. We're planning to get back and do it again in Autumn, and include other places on the east coast of Canada as well
Mr Katie usually injures himself just before we leave on an OS trip. There was the night of food poisoning before we left on our first Intl family trip when the kidlet was 18mths old (and she broke out in hives or something in the middle of that night. Luckily the naughty phenergan I had for her helped the reaction!!) .
Then there was the time he hurt his back, the time he had very bad headache and almost had some kind of test involving coloured dyes that would mean he couldn’t fly, and I’m sure I’m forgetting some of the others.
Keeps me on my toes!
