Out of the current list I'm missing UL & S7

Did fly Aer LIngus, Canadian and Mexicana before they left or disappeared.

8 current members of OW - QF, BA, AA, JL, CX, MH, IB, LAN.... plus two founding members no longer with us Canadian and Aer Lingus.... plus 6 member affiliates.

For me:
<snip>
and also Malev .. the Hungarian airline and full OW member that went broke some years ago :)

<snip>
I also had the pleasure of EI and Malev when they were full members.

I have very fond memories of Malev, even though I only flew on them once. I was flying into Budapest on them, and scheduled to connect with a flight on them onto Frankfurt. I think I was in whY, but a OW Emerald.

The inbound flight was very late and I was pretty sure I would miss my connection, and was dreading trying to negotiate a replacement flight ... maybe next day etc.

On dis-embarking (and I had missed my connection), I was steeling myself for the discussion to come, when I saw a notice with my name on it held by a ground staffer. She happily informed me that I was already booked on a Lufthansa flight, departing in 90 minutes and my bags would be transferred, of course. Please go to the lounge in the meantime.

Now that's service!!

They went bankrupt 30 minutes later after that LH fare hit their account!

Just got S7 to go, trying to work out a way to wrangle that, but I'm not all that keen on Russia at the moment

I'm surprised how few have flown S7. I did about five years ago - it was a great experience. The lounge folks were a bit surprised to see a non-S7 oneworld Sapphire person walk in, but otherwise it was great.

For me it's QF, BA, IB, MH, CX, AA and S7. Previously flew EI a lot when living in DUB.

Will be flying QR in Aug so looking forward to that. Would love to try JL soon. Unlikely to fly UL or RJ anytime soon.

Flew S7 in 2014. Don't have anything bad to say. Short flight from DME to PRG. No trouble getting into lounge which was fairly basic but had all the usual highlights including useable wifi and a massage chair.

QF, AB, BA, AY, IB, S7, UL

Mexicana and MALEV before they went bankrupt.

Wow one voter out of 79 AFF voting members hasn't flown on QF but has flown other OW airlines

Personally I think I might never make it into S7 but only 6% of us here have managed to fly them.

I do think I'll get back to Russia one day after traveling Trans Siberian so I guess there is a small chance.

Unlikely to fly S7 in the near future, unless the ruskies lighten up with their visa requirements, it was easier to get one for the USSR. I would like to do the Trans Siberian again, although technically it was the Trans Mongolian that I did.

I realise people on cruise ships for less than 3 days and sleeping on the ship don't need one.

Do S7 have any bookable tag flights?

I expect they are the hardest OW airline to travel on given limited destinations and Russia visa restrictions. I wonder why OW got S7 to join in the first place?

10 airlines for me plus a few affiliates.

Qantas
Cathay Pacific
Malaysia Airlines
Finnair
British Airways
American Airlines
Royal Jordanian
SriLankan Airlines
LAN Airlines
Japan Airlines

Ten for me in order of flights taken:
Qantas
British Airways
Qatar
Finnair
Cathay Pacific
Sri Lankan
Air Berlin
Malaysia
Iberia
S7: TBS-DME for $70 including the worst sandwich i have ever eaten on an aeroplane.

For those looking at the Trans-Siberian, S7 fly Beijing to Vladivostok so depending on your route that could be an option with the 72 hr visa free transit in Beijing.

Ha I've flown the bottom 4 (UL, QR, S7 and RJ at time of posting) but not a couple of the most popular ones!

I always knew I was a little odd.

A tiny bit of MH and JL, and a lot of QF domestic!
