Online bidding

Air Asia used to have it, via Bidtown, but I think they don't anymore, as their logo is no longer in the Bidtown listing.
But I am sure QF and VA won't have a bar of that. QF uses their internal system, bid now etc.
And for VA, its just plain points burn, ie, just use point straight for the upgrade, no bidding.

I find the Qantas ‘bidding’ a joke. As I have status the only benefits to me are the seat and the meal, if it’s a daytime flight. In a real bidding system I decide how much to bid and if I lose no problem. However the level Qantas sets as the minimum bid is far too close to the actual cost difference so I don’t bid.
