This line normally shows the allocated seat number and is set up as a hot link for the seatmap when a seat is allocated. What I and Dave Noble were pointing out is that while you might not be able to get a seatmap for the inbound; the actual line still shows your allocated seat. (36A in my example).
I believe you are getting the error message in the Pop-up that appears after clicking.
