If it's just you and me better off at casino for free drinks.

Haha I think this is wildly off topic, but I'm stubborn in that I like my local bar. They serve good food, and good drinks. They'll certainly serve better (different) drinks than the free ones at the casino, and sometimes paid drinks are better than free drinks ;)

Essentially, for me it's a 20-30 minute drive into town. If I'm doing that for a drink I'd prefer to be somewhere comfortable like Aloha, than the Casino or Surfers Paradise. Hence why I chose that venue. They're also pretty quiet on Wednesdays when I originally chose to go, so it made sense.

Yes we are off topic but without knowing what drinks I can access at casino why say paying for drinks is better. They have full bar and I have access to top shelf including Belvedere, Grey Goose, Hendricks etc. Only thing they don't do is coughtails but will do a Bloody Mary most times.

boomy and I have drinks nights in Brisbane weekly when we are not busy. Lovely views and very relaxing away from the pokies and gaming tables.

Aloha specialises in coughtails of an exotic kind, they're quite good! Beers are from local breweries like Burleigh and as far away as Hawaii to fit in with the tropical theme. Food is also of a tropical theme but generous in portion and served in a tapas style so works quite nicely.

True I didn't know what drinks you have access to, but I had a fair idea that the premium drinks at Aloha would be different, just by its very nature.

Also, if it's open to all, at some stage you can't cover everyone's drinks for free? And yes, Aloha would require you to pay, it's simply where I have chosen to arrange meet ups on account of its suitability as a venue choice, much like The Mill was your choice for many years. ;)

Additionally, I just had a look on Absolute Rewards (which I assume you're a member of) and as far as I can see, you get unlimited drinks from vending machines and between 10% and 30% off at the bar, not completely free drinks? Or am I looking at the wrong benefits?

Agreed. Aloha should be where drinks are held when you organise OOL drinks nights.

It may not be there. There are exclusive member only areas with 1 guest for Pearl Tier and above. I am Black Tier as I throw away a lot of money but not quite enough for Diamond Tier.

BNE has salad items and fruit as well as crisps, nuts and chocolate. Jupiters has some snacks. Sydney casino very few snacks. And all have fully stocked bar but I forgot I don't have access to 3-4 top shelf drinks like $600+ Hennessey VSOP but have access to mid shelf with some nice spirits including single malt scotch.

You'll have to aim for Diamond then, of which I can't even find any information on! :p

I helieve it is invitation only. And I don't have that much money. These guys spend the equivalent of my gross salary + investment income or more in one night.
