Is there QP access when departing from the international terminal, or is it for domestic only?

There is no QP at OOL at present. The JQ lounge is currently being refurbished & is anticipated to open in December 2012.
This will also be on the domestic side of the terminal.

Going be my experiences at MEL and SYD there should be no problem - once it reopens ...

You would need to allow enough to to be processed be emigration etc. before boarding starts.

I would imagine it will be no different to ADL or Darwin, the proviso being operating hours.

In addition to what others have said. The Jetstar lounge was in the domestic part after security. From what I recall all international passengers have to pass through domestic security anyway. But the lounge was before international security and outbound immigration.

Assuming that the Qantas Club lounge will be in the same position and physical access. You'll have to go through the domestic security to get to the lounge. Then leave the lounge with enough time to pass through international security, outbound immigration and then get to the gate. Luckily the terminal is still quite small.

This will be in late January.
Looking at the logistics of; starting a TRS refund claim at international checkin counter (it's for skis, they need to be sighted), then dropping the skis & luggage, then lounge access.
And with hopefully no cyclonic weather!
