If your amounts are too high for wise/revolut, you can approach a large broker like xe.com.

As far as I know, wise can do very high volumes though, are you talking about billions here or what?

With Wise transferring to Japan to pay the lawyers the $23000 had to be done in 3 payments as you run into the $10000 limit. Then the lawyers had to produce a few pages of proof they were genuine and waited 2-3 weeks before it got into their account.

They can be, but XE is for much higher volume, for that amount of money you should just use wise.

If I'm not mistaken there is a Wise 50,000 baht transfer limit per transaction for some Thai banks with the others capped at 100,000 baht per transaction.

Hi, Transfer Wise has imposed amount limit on funds transfer to Thailand (except 3 major banks listed below). My bank is affected and to send a large amount, one must send in multiple smaller amounts which means more fees and hassle. Just wanted to know if you are affected? What will you do going...

We mainly transfer to Government Savings which is not listed but think that limit is also 50,000 baht per transaction. The changes were part of anti money laundering measures but other currency services may have different limits.
