Seems this offer is back albeit with less lucrative details. Max 20,000pt bonus and only given in 5,000pt instalments at the end of every 3 months.

I’d be open to switching back to Optus for some points but having to put up with their network for 12 months for only 20,000pts is too much to ask. YMMV.

That said, i haven't checked if my new license has an updated expiry date... If so I may have snagged a couple of bonuses there

Agreed. Last time I cancelled via my local Optus shop but now they require to go via the phone in option and I am not going there.

Waiting to see will the $79 plan keep the international roaming data after 1st of August. If not, I can jump to this plan instead. But it is still annoying that with this plan you can’t make international phone calls from Australia or send SMS to overseas
