I am looking at booking a one way flight from Osaka (dept 10.03.18) to Sydney.

I can book business with 92K points (via virgin website). The flights are;

SQ615 dept Osaka at 11:30pm

SQ241 dept Singapore at 07:05am.

What are peoples thoughts/reviews of these aircrafts?

As of today it's an A330 connecting to a 777-ER. The 330 has angled lie flats, the other should be full flat squares. Standard SQ in-flight service. I haven't looked specifically at your date of travel, are those the aircraft showing in the booking pages?

Think the A330 has a "regional" J seat since the flights are usually not so long.

Maybe not the best for a 2300 flight. OK for day trips. Beats flying at the back of the bus though.

You mean these for "regional" seats?

I begrudge paying all that money/points for J and I got these. OK for day flights but disappointing for a night flight. When we landed/in the lounge, I swapped our return flight to the better/bigger J seats.

Sorry, what do you mean by regional J seat?

There are a couple of types of regional seat, but basically they are not full flat - rather some sort of angled seat. Denali has posted the version for the A330, but the ones on the 772 and 773 are of a slightly different design (much wider, but not as flat).
